About The Position

We are seeking an Inventory Team Member to play a hands-on role in managing and protecting millions of dollars in products while building valuable, real-world experience. You’ll work alongside teams across Torani to ensure inventory accuracy, conduct counts of finished goods and raw materials, and help keep operations running smoothly from production through to customer delivery. This is more than just counting—you’ll gain exposure to the full warehouse operation, including receiving, picking, shipping, and custom packaging, while developing problem-solving skills that make a real impact. Requirements

  • Experience with large ERP system, preferably Oracle
  • Experience in making reports from Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • M–F, 9 pm – 5 am, plus overtime as needed
  • Lift up to 50 lbs
  • Stand, walk, bend, twist for up to 8 hours
  • Eligible for $1.50 shift differential
  • Understanding of the concept of oldest inventory ships out first (FEFO, FIFO for raw materials)
  • Ability to systematically follow identified product lot codes and transactions

Responsibilities

  • Ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Conduct counts of finished goods and raw materials.
  • Help keep operations running smoothly from production through to customer delivery.
  • Gain exposure to the full warehouse operation, including receiving, picking, shipping, and custom packaging.
  • Develop problem-solving skills.
  • Investigate discrepancies.
  • Contribute to process improvements.
  • Monitor and identify short shelf life, expired, and slow-moving inventory to reduce product loss.
  • Take ownership of mock recalls and product withdrawals, with the ability to systematically follow identified product lot codes and transactions.
  • Track and report inventory metrics.
  • Provide first-level support when inventory questions arise.
  • Train team members on proper inventory operating procedures.
  • Maintain the cycle count schedule that monitors the health of lot/item/location integrity and prioritize the issues causing inventory discrepancies.
  • Identify and investigate all inventory discrepancies and perform root cause analysis.
  • Play a vital role in physical inventory preparation via the cycle count program and the accurate execution of all processes.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and internal safety regulations.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Own a zone of responsibility and complete corresponding daily checklists.
  • Become proficient in the company’s GMP and Food Safety policies.
  • Report and/or fix all safety hazards immediately.
