Requirements

  • 3 years of WMS & data analysis experience is required
  • 2 years of leadership experience is required
  • This role requires fluency in English as it will liaise regularly with teams across Canada
  • You are analytical with an entrepreneurial mindset and you always strive for improvement
  • You have experience developing and implementing new procedures
  • You are organized and structured in your day-to-day activities
  • Ability to work a regular, full-time schedule which includes weekends to align with production scheduling needs.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years experience liaising with Purchasing, Production, and Quality Assurance departments in a fresh food environment is preferred
  • Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience is an asset
  • Forklift Certification is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Managing daily stock accuracy and cycle counts on our Warehouse Management System
  • Leading a small team of Inventory Coordinators; optimizing labour, scheduling pick lists, assigning daily tasks
  • Working alongside the warehouse team to refine warehouse organization and space optimization
  • Monitoring and analyzing department KPIs; implementing course correcting strategies as necessary
  • Completing investigations to root cause inventory discrepancies, overstock, shortages, and other variances
  • Performing routine inventory audits
  • Fostering interdepartmental collaboration to further develop improvements to current inventory processes
