About The Position

Copart, Inc. is a global technology leader and the premier online vehicle auction platform, with over 200 facilities worldwide, connecting vehicle sellers to over 750,000 buyers in more than 190 countries. The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for managing the inventory of all vehicles at the facility within company timelines. Using company-provided tools, the Inventory Specialist will document vehicle condition according to company standards, including a complete inventory and supporting photographs. Additionally, the Inventory Specialist will direct traffic flow in the receiving area to ensure timely processing of vehicle inventory, based on a system of priorities. Finally, with a thorough understanding of Copart policy, the Inventory Specialist will facilitate the Copart experience by offering solutions to meet customer needs.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older
Ability to work outdoors in all seasons
General automotive knowledge/mechanical aptitude preferred
Basic computer proficiency, with the ability to operate handheld devices preferred
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a team environment
Driver's license preferred
Bilingual skill a plus.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the inventory of all vehicles at the facility within company timelines.
Document vehicle condition within company standards, including a complete inventory and supporting photographs.
Direct the flow of traffic in the receiving area to ensure timely processing of vehicle inventory.
Facilitate the Copart experience by offering solutions to meet customer's needs.
Monitor, maintain and organize the receiving area.
Operate camera and utilize a handheld inventory device to process incoming vehicles.
Determine operational capability of motor vehicles.
Complete vehicle inspection inventories (TLEs) on required vehicles.
Maintain inventory of all materials used.
Compliance to company policies and procedures.
Compliance to safety requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
