About The Position

This role is fully onsite in our Hanover Park, IL office. The shift is 6 am - 2:30 pm. The salary is $21 an hour. You will be at the forefront of helping businesses transform their cloud, data, AI, cybersecurity, and analytics to ensure they are future-ready. As an Inventory Specialist W2 with Insight, you will research distribution errors reported by the Client Services team. Provide and track a credit return number to the client services team when warranted. Assist with inventory adjustments and warehouse master data maintenance. Along the way, you will Conduct cycle counts of product on a daily basis, compare the physical count to the system count and resolve any variances within those counts. Teammates will follow all Insight policies and procedures. Each person is accountable for meeting or exceeding individual and / or departmental metrics.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Strong researching and problem solving skills
Strong math background
Experience with a WMS system is a must
Forklift experience required
Ability to communicate in and understand English to the extent necessary to fulfill/perform the essential job functions

Nice To Haves

Good typing skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

Research distribution errors reported by the Client Services team.
Provide and track a credit return number to the client services team when warranted.
Assist with inventory adjustments and warehouse master data maintenance.
Conduct cycle counts of product on a daily basis.
Compare the physical count to the system count and resolve any variances within those counts.
Count product daily according to a count schedule.
Analyze counts for variances and perform any necessary bin to bin movements.
Research any remaining variances for errors in shipping, receiving, locating, etc.
Block missing product and adjust product counts in order to assure smooth product flow.
