About The Position

The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for managing the inventory of all vehicles at the facility within company timelines. This role involves documenting vehicle condition, including a complete inventory and supporting photographs, using company-provided tools and adhering to company standards. Additionally, the Inventory Specialist will direct the flow of traffic in the receiving area based on a system of priorities to ensure timely processing of vehicle inventory. A thorough understanding of Copart policy is required to facilitate the Copart experience by offering solutions that meet customer needs.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older
Ability to work outdoors in all seasons
Basic computer proficiency, with the ability to operate handheld devices preferred
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a team environment

Nice To Haves

General automotive knowledge/mechanical aptitude preferred
Driver's license preferred
Bilingual skill a plus

Responsibilities

Monitor, maintain and organize the receiving area
Operate camera and utilize a handheld inventory device to process incoming vehicles
Determine operational capability of motor vehicles
Complete vehicle inspection inventories (TLEs) on required vehicles
Maintain inventory of all materials used
Compliance to company policies and procedures
Compliance to safety requirements
