The Department of Economic Security (DES), Division of Technology Services (DTS), is seeking an experienced and highly motivated professional to join our team as a Helpdesk Analyst. This position will serve as an Inventory Specialist. It will be a part of the CAM's (Centralized Asset Management) Team, as a support function to the DES warehouse and Desktop Support team/regions. This position will aid in maintaining accurate inventory control at the DES warehouse and any IT equipment in DTS's possession, while assisting with imaging and prep work of equipment. This position will be the primary owner and contact for IT hardware related tickets, and support the Desktop Support teams by delivering pre-imaged and configured equipment as needed for requests. This position will pick up additional stock or surplus equipment from the Desktop Support team, to be re-imaged, redeployed, or surplussed. The position will respond to equipment requests from program supervisors for new staff, and tickets requesting pick up of equipment for off-boarded employees. The Central Asset Management team provides service to all DES offices statewide. Statewide responsibilities include travel and overtime may be required. This position is based in a DES building and will not offer remote work. The State of Arizona strives for a work culture that affords employees flexibility, autonomy, and trust. All work, including remote work, should be performed within Arizona unless an exception is properly authorized in advance.
