You will develop and implement production control tasks. These functions include master scheduling, production planning/coordination, shop scheduling and dispatching, material requirements, planning systems, work-in-process tracking, material and labor variance controls, and manufacturing performance reporting. This is all for our Engineered to Order manufacturing cell. Approve quantities, schedules and parts lists provided to the material control organization to ensure timely and complete ordering, and receipt and issuance of production material requirements. You will report to the Manager of Production and Inventory Control and work onsite in Mequon, WI.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
  • 5 years' experience in production/inventory control, materials planning, or related manufacturing roles.
  • CPIM, CIRM, CPP, APICS, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent.
  • Experience with advanced planning systems or analytics platforms.
  • Prior involvement in materials optimization, inventory strategy, or service risk mitigation.
  • Experience supporting final and electronic assembly environments.
  • Partnering with Purchasing/Sourcing to resolve supplier quality or delivery issues.

Responsibilities

  • Support the master production schedule with care for customer demand.
  • Implement BOM changes from Engineering Change Notices.
  • Hands‑on production planning experience for module and final assembly areas, considering orders, forecasts, material availability, ECNs, capacity, and equipment constraints.
  • Demonstrated inventory reduction using analytics.
  • Track and manage ETO order progress, backlog, and capacity alignment.
  • Familiarity with MIR/OCN or order change notice processes to communicate required changes for shipment.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP) and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
