Requirements
- Must be able to multi-task with a strong sense of responsibility and initiative.
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills and focus.
- Able to establish/maintain effective working relationships with patients, staff payers and team members.
Responsibilities
- Orders and maintains par levels for inventory in the Surgical Services Department.
- Understands and adheres to the OrthoVirginia Performance Standards, Policies and Behaviors.
- Conducts inventory counts, orders, and restocks items on a daily basis.
- Communicating with established vendors and staff in the department leads to ordering and maintaining surgical supplies that best meet the needs of the organization.
- Oversee inventory and order additional products and supplies when needed.
- Evaluate the selection and shipping process and work to improve efficiency and minimize cost.
- Keep up to date with industry trends and update inventory as needed.
- Work closely with the Purchasing Director and Surgical Services Director to maximize profit.
