About The Position

Copart, Inc. is a global technology leader and the premier online vehicle auction platform. With over 200 facilities worldwide, Copart connects vehicle sellers with more than 750,000 buyers in over 190 countries. The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for managing all vehicle inventory at the facility within company timelines. Using company-provided tools, the Inventory Specialist will document vehicle conditions to company standards, including a complete inventory and supporting photographs. They will also direct traffic flow in the receiving area to ensure timely processing of vehicle inventory and facilitate the Copart experience by offering solutions to meet customer needs, based on a thorough understanding of Copart policy.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older
Ability to work outdoors in all seasons
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a team environment

Nice To Haves

General automotive knowledge/mechanical aptitude
Basic computer proficiency, with the ability to operate handheld devices
Driver's license
Bilingual skill

Responsibilities

Monitor, maintain and organize the receiving area.
Operate camera and utilize a handheld inventory device to process incoming vehicles.
Determine operational capability of motor vehicles.
Complete vehicle inspection inventories (TLEs) on required vehicles.
Maintain inventory of all materials used.
Compliance to company policies and procedures.
Compliance to safety requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
