About The Position

The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for managing all vehicle inventory at the facility within company timelines. Using company-provided tools, they will document vehicle conditions, including a complete inventory and supporting photographs, adhering to company standards. The role also involves directing traffic flow in the receiving area to ensure timely processing of vehicle inventory and facilitating the Copart experience by offering solutions to meet customer needs, all while demonstrating a thorough understanding of Copart policy.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older
Ability to work outdoors in all seasons
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a team environment

Nice To Haves

General automotive knowledge/mechanical aptitude preferred
Basic computer proficiency, with the ability to operate handheld devices preferred
Driver's license preferred
Bilingual skill a plus

Responsibilities

Monitor, maintain and organize the receiving area.
Operate camera and utilize a handheld inventory device to process incoming vehicles.
Determine operational capability of motor vehicles.
Complete vehicle inspection inventories (TLEs) on required vehicles.
Maintain inventory of all materials used.
Compliance to company policies and procedures.
Compliance to safety requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
