About The Position

Responsible for evaluating and reviewing the company's overall inventory management. The ideal candidate will have intensive background working with salvage automobile parts and interchanges. Ability to work independently while staying on task to meet increasing performance demands. Must be able to accurately identify vehicle make, model and options. Must decipher manufacture option codes on vehicles and parts to accurately identify interchange of parts. Evaluate inventory levels for all salvage automobile inventory and determine proper product stocking. Communicate opportunities found within inventory. Research and investigate missing inventory. Correct errors found by corporate oversight. Evaluate inventory for accuracy. Assume other duties as assigned. Collaborate with management and the dismantle team to make process adjustments as directed. Ability to endure outdoor environments through the majority of the shift (extreme hot or cold, rain, snow). Must be fluent in or learning and using technology (smart phone, tablet, computer).

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• 1+ years of related experience required
• Past experience working in the inventory department within the company.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.
• Frequent use of Outlook, Word, Excel, graphics, etc.
• Regularly uses moderately complex oral and written skills.
• Handle multiple tasks or projects simultaneously with moderate complexity.

• Experience within inventory controls.
