About The Position
We are looking for a reliable Warehouse Associate with inventory and shipping/receiving experience to support operations in our food production facility. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with inventory processes, basic computer use, and working in refrigerated and freezer environments.
Requirements
- Warehouse or Inventory experience preferred
- Basic computer skills: data entry, inventory systems, email
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Ability to lift and move products as required
- Reliable; able to work in a team-oriented environment
- Must be comfortable working in temperature-controlled areas, including refrigerated or freezer zones
Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment
- Prepare and process outgoing shipments
- Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy against invoices
- Stock all warehouse shelves with product
- Ensure proper product rotation using "First In, First Out" method
- Conduct daily and weekly inventory of production items noting "Use By" dates.
- Complete all daily QA receiving logs and packing slips
- Pick and deliver to Production all product for scheduled recipes
- Assist with inventory control and organization
- Perform other general warehouse duties as needed
- Ensure adherence to procedures, including GMP requirements, food safety, and plant personnel safety
