About the Role: The Inventory Shift Lead supports daily retail operations with a focus on inventory integrity, compliance, and organization. This role assists with intake oversight, stock-level awareness, audits, and merchandising standards while serving as a trusted on-shift leader. While this position does not include formal management authority, Inventory Shift Leads play a critical role in reinforcing SOPs, supporting training, and ensuring inventory-related processes are completed accurately and consistently.

Requirements

• Prior experience in cannabis retail inventory, intake, or compliance
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to required weight limits
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must meet all state requirements for cannabis industry employment

Responsibilities

• Assist with oversight of inventory operations for the assigned location, ensuring proper intake, accurate documentation, and adherence to audit schedules.
• Support compliance by reinforcing procedures, maintaining merchandising standards, and identifying any risks or discrepancies for leadership review.
• Reinforce training, delegate inventory-related tasks appropriately, and communicate clearly with Support Staff, Lead Supervisors, Inventory Managers, and Store Managers.
• Lead by example throughout each shift, maintaining structure, accuracy, and professionalism in all inventory-related activities.
