About The Position

Sandestin® Golf and Beach Resort is seeking an Inventory Runner for the PM shift. This role involves transporting supplies such as guest items, linens, housewares, and public area items around the resort. The Inventory Runner is responsible for unloading and loading deliveries for housekeeping and laundry, and maintaining the organization and cleanliness of all inventory areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must have knowledge of Microsoft software such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure and assist housekeeping staff with replacement of housewares for rental units.
• Ensure inventory requested by Guests, Owners and housekeeping staff is handled in a timely fashion.
• Complete end of the month inventory of housewares to be submitted to accounting.
• Organize and maintain all storage and supplies in Housekeeping.
• Exercise good judgment while reinforcing the resort standards of quality.
• Report all suspicious persons, actions, and hazardous conditions to the Director of Housekeeping and/or Security.
• Respond to guest questions. Provide guest assistance, directions and information as requested.
• Drive an automobile, forklift or golf cart.
• Other duties as assigned
