About The Position

Triple-S Steel is a family-owned business that has grown into one of the largest suppliers of structural steel products in the country. We are looking for a candidate in our Inventory/ Receiveing. This person will monitor and receive all incoming shipments. This position requires someone who is detail oriented with intermediate computer skills.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Good math and excellent organizational skills.
• Able to deal effectively with employees.
• Ability to multi-task, ability to deal with changing circumstance and situations.
• Ability to accurately and efficiently use a tape measure and micrometer.
• Ability to operate an overhead crane.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of structural steel products or previous steel distribution warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive all shipments by outside sources and company transfers.
• Field questions about orders from warehouse and sales.
• Perform stock checks.
• Address any backorders immediately each morning.
• Maintain organized and accurate inventory.
• Operate overhead crane
• Operate Hyster Forklift
