About The Position

The Team Lead, Inventory Quality will drive individual development and team success through constructive coaching and results-oriented motivation. The Team Lead will work closely with our Inventory Quality Specialists and Manager to ensure that the Inventory Quality team performs to the best of their ability. We are looking for someone who is passionate about coaching, has knowledge of the Carvana customer experience process, and is willing to be "in the trenches" with their team.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited undergraduate institution.
  • 2+ years of management experience.
  • Intermediate excel skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both internally and externally.
  • Experience working with all levels of management.
  • Strong ability to coach and motivate others.
  • Experience with strategic planning and process improvement.
  • Successful track record of guiding teams to exceed goals.
  • Ability to diagnose and solve problems.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Willingness to work on weekends.
  • Ability to maintain high volume and high-quality content in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead a team of 8-15 Inventory Quality Specialists to efficiently and accurately annotate vehicles for the Carvana website.
  • Provide mentoring and accountability to direct reports and succession planning through appropriate coaching, leadership development and training, and performance management.
  • Ensure all Inventory Quality Specialists, both internal and with partner teams, meet or exceed all Carvana standards.
  • Actively look for ways to improve the overall customer and Inventory Quality team experience.
  • Maintain and produce daily, weekly and monthly reports of quality metrics and respective targets and goals.
  • Proactively communicate information to direct reports, providing clear understanding of expectations, performance measures, and goals.
  • Proactively communicate with leadership regarding business performance, the impact of decisions on customers, and potential risks to the business.
  • Be a continuous positive force within the office, creating strong morale and spirit throughout the Inventory Quality team.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
