About The Position

This role is responsible for distributing gaming forms and equipment, checking received shipments for accuracy, contacting vendors regarding discrepancies, maintaining inventory levels, performing cycle counts, preparing items for return shipment, and ensuring confidentiality of financial and employee records. The position requires a responsive and professional demeanor, representing the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa positively in the community and maintaining proper attendance and a clean work area. Flexibility and willingness to assume additional responsibilities are also expected.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of computer applications including word processing, databases and/or data entry, spreadsheets and Microsoft Outlook is preferred.
  • Department uniform is required and provided to the employee, which must be worn during the scheduled work hours unless prior arrangements have been made with management.
  • Must attend all mandatory department training.
  • Must attend all required Title 31 and/or SAR training.
  • Ability to obtain a gaming identification badge to work in and around Casino property and facilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing is required.
  • Ability to work independently and establish priorities is required.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is required.
  • Ability to establish professional and harmonious working relationships on all projects and with all parties involved.
  • Subject to drug and alcohol testing in accordance with the Fond du Lac Reservation’s Personnel Policies.
  • Subject to pre-employment and annual background checks.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Sedentary work with walking and standing, sitting, bending, stooping, crouching, twisting and turning is required.
  • Subject to inside and outside environmental conditions, including work in a smoking environment.
  • Repetitiously lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds is required.
  • Excellent dexterity required.

Nice To Haves

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Strong mathematical aptitude preferred
  • Previous gaming experience is preferred.
  • Previous Inventory Control experience is preferred.
  • Forklift operation experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Distributes gaming forms/gaming equipment and documents the distribution.
  • Checks received shipments for accuracy, makes proper distribution of materials and supporting documents.
  • Contact vendors regarding damage, errors in partial or duplicate shipments, price substitutes, billings and extensions.
  • Maintains a thorough, working knowledge of all assigned inventory.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels on all assigned inventory.
  • Performs routine, monthly cycle counting and logs counts.
  • Assist in keeping accurate files of current Slot machines.
  • Prepare and verify items for return shipment and maintain documentation of all shipments sent out.
  • Ensures confidentiality of financial records and all records for employees, band members and/or clients.
  • Displays a responsive and professional manner in promptly responding to all requests, complaints, and problems.
  • Recognizes that each employee is a representative of the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and is responsible for demonstrating courtesy, respect, and sensitivity to the needs of all others, including visitors and co-workers.
  • Represents the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and the department in a positive and professional manner in the community.
  • Required to maintain proper attendance including reporting to work on time in accordance with applicable policies.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area.
  • Due to changes and modifications in the job from time to time, employees are required to be flexible and assume other responsibilities assigned by management as deemed necessary.
