We're seeking an Inventory Planner to join a growing team in the Newark, NJ area and play a critical role in ensuring the right products are available at the right time.
Requirements
- Experience in Inventory Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, or related field
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities
- Ability to interpret sales trends and forecasting data
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Purchasing, and Operations teams
Responsibilities
- Analyze sales trends, demand patterns, and inventory levels to develop accurate forecasts
- Generate and maintain inventory, demand planning, and sales reports
- Partner closely with Sales to understand market demand and business needs
- Monitor inventory on hand and proactively identify shortages or excess stock
- Collaborate with Buyers and Sales teams to ensure inventory aligns with anticipated customer orders
- Utilize data analytics to drive inventory optimization and improve supply chain performance
- Support decision-making through reporting, forecasting, and actionable insights
