About The Position

The Inventory Planner is responsible for managing and optimizing inventory levels to meet customer demands while minimizing costs, ensuring efficient supply chain operations.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of pertinent work experience (supply chain and logistics preferred)
Bachelor’s degree required
Strong planning and organizational skills with an ability to handle a multitude of tasks.
Self-motivated to learn with a desire and talent to advance professionally.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
High standards of integrity required.
Willing to travel as needed.
Proficient in MS Excel
ERP experience required.

Nice To Haves

ASCM Certification preferred
QAD experience is a major plus.

Responsibilities

Plan inventory for assigned product lines. This responsibility includes forecasting, setting replenishment criteria, purchasing, and distributing inventory through the service center network.
Set up new items including bills of material and the warehouse management system.
Work with the service center teams to troubleshoot inventory, picking, and receiving issues.
Expedite with suppliers and manufacturing sites. Collaborate with manufacturing sites to optimize the replenishment process.
Support customer service team to meet customer needs.
Work with sales team on stocking programs, product introductions, and product end of life.
Other tasks/functions as assigned.
