Our warehouse and supply chain teams play a critical role in ensuring the right equipment and materials are in place to keep our customers’ businesses running efficiently and without interruption. We’re seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Planner to drive inventory accuracy, optimize material flow, and support operational efficiency within our warehouse environment. This role is critical to maintaining data integrity, managing inventory lifecycle processes, and partnering cross-functionally to resolve discrepancies and support demand planning. This individual will combine hands-on inventory execution with data-driven decision-making to ensure the right materials are available at the right time—minimizing risk and maximizing operational performance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory, warehouse, or supply chain operations
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis and reporting)
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze inventory and resolve discrepancies
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
  • Effective communication skills across teams and stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Receive, verify, and track inbound inventory, including 200–400 routers monthly
  • Manage small parts organization and maintain structured staging areas
  • Process small parts returns, RMA inventory, and defective materials
  • Perform routine cycle counts and execute inventory adjustments
  • Maintain high standards of inventory accuracy and system integrity
  • Allocate inventory to support order fulfillment and operational demand
  • Monitor inventory levels and proactively identify shortages or excess
  • Partner with logistics and transportation teams to ensure timely movement of materials
  • Analyze inventory data using Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), Oracle/WMS, and reporting tools
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies or system errors
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and generate reports to support business decisions
  • Partner closely with the Demand Planning team to align inventory with forecasts
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve issues
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within inventory and supply chain processes
