About The Position

onsemi is seeking a candidate with strong problem-solving and analytical skills to join the Inventory Planning team within Supply Chain Management. The role drives processes that enable inventory optimization and support corporate financial goals. Working cross-functionally with Business Units, Sales, Finance, and Planning, the planner identifies opportunities to reduce excess and slow-moving inventory across all stages of the supply chain and develops accurate forward-looking models of inventory growth and decline.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain planning, finance, business analytics, demand planning, or related fields.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, and Business Unit leadership.
• A proven track record of driving inventory reduction, working capital improvements, and process optimization initiatives.
• Experience developing forecasting models, inventory projections, and executive-level business analyses.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice To Haves

• Semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, or electronics industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute inventory optimization strategies to support revenue growth, margin objectives, and working capital targets.
• Identify and drive actions to reduce excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory across the enterprise.
• Establish inventory targets by product family, business unit, region, and customer segment.
• Monitor inventory health metrics and recommend corrective actions to improve inventory turns and reduce aging inventory.
• Lead cross-functional efforts to resolve demand-supply imbalances and inventory mismatches.
• Communicate key inventory risks, reserve exposure, market changes, and financial implications clearly and actionably.
• Manage an inventory entitlement model that helps highlight areas of imbalance.
