About The Position

The Inventory Merchandise Specialist will manage and oversee the company’s merchandise inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and efficient organization. They will be responsible for stocking and restocking merchandise, conducting daily inventory audits, tracking product distribution, and ensuring quality assurance. Additionally, they will ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies, collaborating with other departments to optimize inventory management and product availability. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency in inventory systems are crucial for maintaining smooth operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and industry-specific software.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • NV State Agent Card Required.
  • OSHA 10 Card Required (company paid after six months)

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for processing stock intakes, replenishment by making sure we have the appropriate products on the sales floor fully stocked and on display.
  • Maintain and communicate current stock levels for merchandise, ensuring awareness of inventory status at all times.
  • Ensure the back of house is kept up to standards, organized and clean.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures, and train others to help minimize stock loss.
  • Attach price tags and sensor tags, and properly prepare merchandise for floor display.
  • Cleans display cases, shelves, and aisles.
  • Participates in conducting weekly, monthly and quarterly audits.
  • Maintain visual merchandises standards.
  • Comply with inventory control procedures.
  • Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
  • Assist with the implementation of company policies, standard operating procedures, and performance standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Daily compliance with company policies including but not limited to; state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedules.
