About The Position

The Inventory Manager is responsible for all inventory operations within the store, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and product availability in a high-volume retail environment. This role oversees inventory tracking, ordering, receiving, and reconciliation, while maintaining strict adherence to state cannabis regulations and company standards.

Requirements

Experience in inventory management, retail operations, or a related role
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Experience with inventory systems and POS platforms
Must be able to pass a background check
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
Comfortable working in both stockroom and retail floor environments

Nice To Haves

2+ years of inventory or stock management experience
Experience in a regulated industry (cannabis strongly preferred)
Experience with METRC or similar inventory tracking systems, strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Own inventory accuracy across all systems and physical product
Conduct regular cycle counts, full audits, and inventory reconciliations
Maintain real-time, accurate inventory data within POS and state tracking systems
Monitor inventory levels to ensure product availability and proper assortment
Forecast demand and place orders based on sales trends and business needs
Receive and verify shipments for accuracy, quality, and compliance
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in deliveries and invoices
Organize and maintain back stock for efficient storage and access
Ensure full compliance with all state cannabis regulations and company policies
Maintain accurate inventory records, including the use of METRC or applicable tracking systems
Prepare for and support internal and external audits
Identify, report, and resolve inventory variances in a timely manner
Partner with store leadership to support daily operations and product flow
Ensure timely restocking during peak business hours
Identify opportunities to improve inventory processes and efficiency
Support store teams with inventory-related needs as required
Perform other duties as assigned
