About The Position

Curtis Lumber, a family-owned and operated building materials retailer, is seeking an experienced individual for its Inventory Management Support team at the Ballston Spa location. This role is responsible for the movement of product and material, including shipping and receiving of incoming and outgoing merchandise and materials. The position will focus on P&M counts and general inventory management functions. Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 50-80lbs regularly.
  • Must be able to operate a propane forklift safely.
  • Must wear PPE.

Nice To Haves

  • Building material product knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Movement of product and material, including shipping and receiving of incoming and outgoing merchandise and materials.
  • Focus on P&M counts and general inventory management functions.
  • Loading and unloading of material.
  • Receive product and check for order shortages/overages or any errors in the shipment.
  • Pull and/or prepare products for delivery or shipment, ensuring accuracy.
  • Practice good merchandising.
  • Involved in procurement and replenishment of product.
  • Safe and proper use of equipment and materials.
  • Work outside year-round.
