About The Position

This role is responsible for coordinating and scheduling pickups and deliveries, administering transactions in the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) software, and performing research to address supply and demand issues. The position involves executing reports, analyzing data, and working closely with Material Management to prioritize tasks. Key duties include preparing shipping documents, prioritizing return-to-stock activities, coordinating product deliveries, and processing material requests from Engineering. Essential functions include operating a company vehicle, processing assignments in the MRP software according to established procedures and standards, performing clerical duties with attention to detail, and working collaboratively within a team. The role also involves generating purchase requisitions, interfacing with customers, analyzing shipping and receiving documents for discrepancies, and performing manual receivers and inventory adjustments. The position requires the ability to perform moderately strenuous physical work, including standing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and working overhead.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience OR 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 1 year of prior related experience
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and schedules pick up and deliveries on and off campus
  • Administers transactions in the Material Requirements Planning software tool
  • Performs research and problem solving to address general supply and demand issues
  • Executes reports and analyzes data to highlight trends
  • Works closely with Material Management to proactively prioritize work queue
  • Prepares and executes shipping documents
  • Prioritizes return to stock activities for completed/acceptable components
  • Coordinates delivery of product and material to end user
  • Receives, reviews, and processes general material requests from Engineering
  • Operates a company vehicle on and off campus to pick up and deliver material.
  • Receives assignments for processing in the Materials Requirements Planning software in accordance with L3Harris operating procedures, contractual, ISO, FAR, and ITAR standards and requirements
  • Clerical duties requiring exceptional attention to detail
  • Works well within a team and is capable of reprioritizing assignments based on workload and doing so with a positive and constructive attitude
  • Generating purchase requisitions and working with logistics department on order needs
  • Interface with both internal and external customers
  • Analyzing shipping & receiving documents for discrepancies and problems.
  • Performing manual receivers, inventory adjustments and other transactions as per procedures
