About The Position

This is an Inventory Management Support position in support of manufacturing operations. Candidate must be capable of performing all physical or administrative tasks involved in the receiving, storing, shipping, and/or distribution of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a cross-functional team.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 4 years prior experience
  • 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 0-2 years prior experience

Nice To Haves

  • Previous receiving experience unpacking goods received against purchase orders or invoices
  • Ability to maintain accurate records of received goods, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary
  • Previous stockroom, shipping, or warehouse experience including picking, put away, and cycle counting
  • Knowledge of order processing to support revenue shipments
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience using Oracle EBS, Agile, and Microsoft Office programs
  • Multitasking ability to work concurrently between multiple software programs
  • Able to operate a forklift upon receipt of internal certification
  • Knowledge of material handling procedures and Environmental Health and Safety requirements
  • Must be able to remain in stationary position for 85% of hourly shift (shifts are 9 hours)
  • Ability moving up to 50 lbs
  • Strong customer focus and communication skills
  • Exhibits strong teamwork and collaboration

Responsibilities

  • Receiving and inducting parts
  • Maintaining accurate counts of parts through processes such as cycle counts and location audits
  • Picking and delivering parts through a variety of different types of picks
  • Completing work orders for kitted jobs that will run on the factory floor
  • Picking parts
  • Putting away parts in correct locations
  • Using machinery such as forklifts, waves, pallet jacks and tuggers to move material safely from one place to another
  • Building jobs by putting parts on machines
  • Tearing down parts from machines and inducting parts back into stock
  • Receiving inventory and directing it to the correct locations
  • Part/count validation
  • Packing of parts
