About The Position

The Inventory Warehouse Associate is responsible for the daily flow and duties of receiving procedures in the Inventory Management department. This role ensures proper receiving, replenishment, and put away/dock to stock policies are followed. The associate will also be responsible for the safe operation of forklifts and other equipment, unloading and receiving incoming trucks, inspecting pallets and products for defects, and replenishing product from storage to pick locations. Additionally, the role involves organizing warehouse space, performing machinery checks, assisting with cycle counts, transferring inventory, and creating various reports. The associate is expected to contribute ideas for improving warehousing procedures.

  • Operate a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
  • Operates any materials handling equipment safely and efficiently as required.
  • Ensures that the work area is left clean and tidy at the end of each shift.
  • Assists in maintaining the sanitation, security, and safety of the warehouse.
  • Required to read and write English, follow verbal instructions, and use simple math.

  • High school diploma required; one year of related experience in shipping and receiving.
  • Organized thought process with high attention to detail with ability to produce accurate results, effective prioritization to meet scheduled deadlines, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures proper receiving, replenishment, and put away/dock to stock policies.
  • Ensures proper use and safety of forklift and other equipment operations.
  • Unload and receive/stage all incoming trucks.
  • Receive product as per SLA.
  • Inspect pallets and products for defects and damages.
  • Replenishment of product from storage locations to pick locations.
  • Put away/Dock to Stock of product from inbound dock to storage and pick locations.
  • Organizes items of pallet.
  • Re-packs and re-organizes product in storage and pick locations.
  • Organize stocks and maintain inventory.
  • Organize warehouse space.
  • Perform machinery checks per company and safety guidelines.
  • Assist with Cycle Counts.
  • Transfer Inventory between Client or Sku as needed.
  • Create and run various reports, including stock status of product, backorder and replenishment reports, and end of day reports.
  • Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures.
