About The Position

The Inventory Control Lead plans, directs and assists in the comprehensive execution of the facility’s inventory needs including supply chain purchasing, receiving, product packaging, and order fulfillment. This position assists with driving the facility’s inventory program and ensures product orders are fulfilled accurately and timely.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree preferred
1 year of Inventory Control experience preferred
Prior leadership experience

Responsibilities

Implements an inventory tracking system to record receiving shipments and purchase operational supplies.
Leads a team of inventory employees including receiving and purchasing.
Oversees the regular inventory cycle counts on supplies and finished product with analysis and reconciliation completed.
Conducts daily and weekly inventory audits matching physical inventory to internal tracking and state compliance systems.
Collaborates with operation teams to ensure weekly stock is available, organized and updated.
Performs internal inventory transfers to verify quality control, regulatory compliance, and physical counts.
Researches, trains, and implements continual awareness and understanding of the state’s medical marijuana rules and regulations.
Follows order fulfillment process to accept, schedule, pack, and stage orders for delivery.
Works with the sales team on all incoming and outgoing orders to ensure flawless execution.
Coordinates and schedules product deliveries with sales and transport team.
Attends all inventory meetings to ensure packaging supplies and finished product consistently meets customer demand.
Works with accounts receivable and compliance on any invoicing or order issues that may require research and investigation.
Reduces loss through efficient ordering and identification of waste.
Performs other duties as assigned.
