About The Position

This is a mid-level position in the warehouse team, supporting operations & supply chain. The role ensures an attitude of safety consciousness throughout the warehouse, preventing damage to product, equipment, and the facility. The Inventory Lead enforces all safety rules through safety observations, assists in training and motivating personnel for increased effectiveness, and provides leadership in problem-solving. They direct the workforce to achieve maximum efficiency, applying sound communication and motivational techniques in supervising, counseling, and disciplining subordinates. The role involves leading by example, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of all materials handling equipment, and ensuring compliance with OSHA standards, GMP regulations, Food Safety, C-TPAT, and standard operating procedures. Additionally, the Inventory Lead ensures all personnel are trained properly in their respective areas and cross-trained in other related positions within the department. They interface closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality Control and coordinate material movement between locations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 8+ years’ experience in warehouse environment with previous lead/supervision
  • Proven Leadership and Interpersonal skills
  • Computer skills (database, spreadsheets, processing software) and Math skills
  • Self-motivated commitment to continuous improvement
  • Ability to excel within high-risk and fast paced work environment
  • Proven ability to exercise sound judgement in making decisions

Responsibilities
