About The Position

This position involves all aspects of the IG assembly processes, including putting up inventory stock, pulling parts, assembling, repair/restock, packing, shipping/receiving, and general clean-up. The main focus of the position at this time involves putting up and pulling inventory stock. This is an onsite, 1st shift position.

Requirements

Ability to organize workload for timely accomplishment of work.
Operate safely standup and sit-down style forklifts.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with continuous interruptions.
Ability to perform physical activity associated with operation of equipment including bending, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and reaching in order to meet production needs.
Basic computer skills including MS Office.
Operate safely overhead cranes and associated rigging equipment.

Responsibilities

Hands-on putting up inventory stock as received from SEW affiliates and domestic suppliers.
Hands-on parts pulling, prepping, and staging of parts for parts orders and shop assembly orders.
Operate material handling equipment such as, but not limited to, various types of forklifts and cranes.
Use computer for inventory/shipping/receiving in SAP & Swisslog systems.
Rotate to various jobs within the Assembly Shop if necessary.
Packaging, shipping/receiving, and general clean up.
