Based in La Palma, CA or Hopkins, MN, the Inventory & Fulfillment Planner ensures the efficient movement of products from production to customer locations, meeting service objectives while optimizing cost. This role drives performance through effective use of systems, processes, and reporting to maximize efficiency across multiple locations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Statistics, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, inventory planning, or related areas
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain functions (planning, distribution, transportation, procurement)
  • Advanced Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDA)
  • Analytical, detail-oriented problem solver able to work independently
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)

Responsibilities

  • Partner cross-functionally (Demand Planning, Customer Service, FSQ, Warehousing, Transportation, Supply Planning) to execute inventory strategies that meet service and cost goals
  • Manage product flow by creating purchase and stock transfer orders in ERP systems
  • Monitor inventory performance using reporting and analytics to maintain optimal levels and drive corrective actions
  • Develop replenishment plans for seasonality, promotions, new launches, and ongoing demand
  • Analyze and adjust min/max inventory levels to support forecasts, service, and financial objectives
  • Optimize storage and distribution network efficiency to reduce costs and improve profitability
  • Manage aging, excess, and obsolete inventory through proactive planning and rebalancing
  • Identify slow-moving products and recommend actions, including potential discontinuation
