About The Position

Want to build your career in merchandising while helping Canadians discover the latest and greatest tech? Join us as a demand planner and help execute our inventory strategy to ensure our products are available in-store and online for our customers! In this role, the successful candidate is needed to be in the greater Vancouver, BC area, where we practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of retail buying, inventory management, or planning experience
  • 2+ years of retail experience
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel – you love data!
  • Strong communication skills
  • Critical thinking – have a “seek to understand” approach
  • Great team player

Responsibilities

  • Analyze our inventory and sales data and provide your analytical insights.
  • Partner with our vendors around the world and analyze vendor performance to make informed decisions with our buyers.
  • Review and adjust location replenishment parameters and allocate the right quantities to each store and online.
  • Perform purchase order creation, tracking and receipts flow management to meet company objectives
  • Perform monthly inventory forecasting
  • Develop and communicate customer availability mitigation strategies to support sales forecasts.
