About The Position

This position will perform the cycle count of inventory for the PSI Bearings Division, located in Simi Valley, CA. This person will report to the Materials Manager. The role focuses heavily on inventory accuracy.

Requirements

Must be able to count, add, subtract, multiply and divide
Must have basic English verbal, reading and writing skills
Must have good organizational skills
Must be able to lift a maximum of 25 lbs.
Must have basic PC skills
Must be able to read and interpret Planning, Routings, Squawk sheets
Needs high attention to detail
Strong focus on safety
Understanding of the need for accuracy and urgency
Candidates may be restricted by federal export control laws to be a 'U.S. Person', which includes U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, U.S. permanent residents, individuals granted asylum in the United States, and refugees in the United States, or who otherwise can qualify for a license that permits them to hold the position.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of the Cycle Count Program
Provide the Cycle Count Report on a weekly basis
Perform inventory transactions related to cycle count
Responsible for count and identification accuracy of on hand and system inventory
Perform Root Cause Analysis for inventory errors
Work with all personnel who handle inventory
Create a Scrap ticket input report
Labor ticket processing
Adhere to all Export, Import and Supply Chain Security Policy requirements relevant to the position
Follow State and Federal Environmental Compliance Programs
Adhere to ISO 9000 Standards
