About The Position

The Inventory Cycle Counter supports inventory control through a perpetual inventory system. The role reconciles physical, documented, and electronic inventory throughout the Distribution Center; researches products to build familiarity and identify merchandise; uses a radio frequency (RF) unit to scan merchandise; and safely and efficiently operates industrial equipment such as a cherry picker. Other duties may be assigned.

The position requires communication with supervisors to obtain the knowledge needed to perform job functions independently. The employee must be reliable, able to verify inventory counts using physical strength and mathematical ability, communicate and comprehend detailed instructions, learn processes and product information, and safely operate lift equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to communicate proactively and effectively, comprehend and communicate detailed instructions, read and write, and understand commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures relevant to the position.
• Willingness to learn and complete required certifications, such as Lift Operator Certification.
• Basic computer skills.
• Mathematical aptitude.
• Ability to operate industrial equipment such as a cherry picker.
• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to communicate with supervisors to obtain the knowledge needed to perform job functions independently.
• Reliability and consistency in schedule and performance.
• Physical strength to verify inventory counts and ability to safely operate lift equipment.

Responsibilities
