About The Position

The Inventory Cycle Counter is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and timely escalation of discrepancies. This role is critical to ensuring system integrity by verifying physical inventory, supporting inventory transactions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues. This is a highly physical role requiring frequent walking throughout the facility and active engagement on the production floor and in warehouse environments.

Requirements

  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing and warehouse environment
  • Do repetitive movements (hand, wrist, and arm)
  • Normal and / or corrected hearing and vision with good hand eye coordination
  • Walking, bending, twisting, stooping, climbing stairs, and lifting objects
  • Lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Withstand heat in excess of 95 degrees
  • Be exposed to wood dust and aluminum with no factors or hazards present to a disagreeable extent

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or manufacturing is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with RF scanners, forklifts or inventory systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cycle counts and reconcile physical inventory against system records, documenting discrepancies.
  • Execute basic inventory scanning transactions to maintain system accuracy.
  • Work with Receiving, Shipping, and Production teams to locate and verify materials as needed.
  • Support FIFO practices by identifying and rotating aging or misplaced materials.
  • Assist in resolving inventory issues by working with supervisors and team members.
  • Assist with labeling, bay organization, and location accuracy.
  • Prepare areas for physical inventory events (sorting, organizing, staging materials).
  • Communicate clearly and professionally when reporting counts or escalating issues.
  • Safely move materials using carts, pallet jacks, or forklifts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
