About The Position

As a family company, Meijer is dedicated to enriching the lives of the communities they serve. They are looking for Inventory Coordinators to work in their Grocery, Dairy/Frozen, GM and Liquor Departments. As an Inventory Coordinator, you will play a key role in keeping shelves stocked, displays organized, and customers happy. This role involves conducting physical inventory counts, researching and reporting discrepancies, and preparing weekly reports. The goal is to ensure products are available, priced correctly, and easy to find, creating a clean and inviting shopping experience. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy a fast-paced environment, teamwork, and seeing the tangible results of their work.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Detail-oriented and organized.
Strong listening and communications skills, face-to-face and virtually.
Willingness to learn or existing familiarity with job-specific technology.
Problem-solving competence and eagerness to troubleshoot when necessary.
Process-driven with ability to follow procedures in an organized and efficient way.
Ability to stay calm while working in a fast-paced environment.
Desire to work with customers on a consistent basis.
Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling product.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Nice To Haves

Previous retail inventory, warehouse, logistics experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Conduct physical inventory counts of all Grocery Dept merchandise.
