About The Position

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and 1 (one) year of experience in Medical Supply Chain, Procurement, and issue of supplies in a perpetual inventory environment.
  • 2 years of work experience will be considered in lieu of education.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains the perpetual inventory using the guidelines established by the organization.
  • Coordinates supply flow between vendors and internal supply chain.
  • Expedites backorders and locates appropriate substitutes when necessary.
  • Communicates inventory issues to clinical staff and management.
  • Creates daily supply requisitions and purchase orders based on requirements.
  • Verifies order confirmations and pricing on a daily basis.
  • Inspects incoming deliveries for accuracy and damage.
  • Stocks supplies to appropriate locations.
  • Works with vendors and internal stakeholders to correct pricing discrepancies.
  • Maintains operating room areas in accordance with sterile/clean guidelines and procedures.
  • Cleans and organizes all supply bins on a routine basis.
  • Follows all safety guidelines and demonstrates proper body mechanics in all functions.
  • Operates assigned equipment in a safe manner as instructed.
