About The Position

Reporting to the Distribution Area Manager, the Inventory Coordinator is responsible for the cycle counts program, cycle count audit program, verification, to determine accuracy of perpetual inventory. You will also support the Romeoville Distribution Center for all inventory inquiries and transactions. Provides training for inventory processes. Coordinates year-end inventory activities and issues monthly cycle count reports. Schedule: 3:00 PM-11:30 PM. Overtime and weekends may be required. This position is part of the Shipping & Receiving Department located in Romeoville, ILL and will be on-site.

Requirements

HS Diploma or equivalent required.
6 months experience with inventory systems
Attention to detail, Ability to count
Willing to drive Order Picker
Ability to work independently.
Be versatile in handling various responsibilities.
Strong decision making and problem-solving abilities.
Basic math skills.
Proficient in ERP Systems (i.e. Oracle)
Strong Computer Skills
Comfortable with heights ( and using an aerial lift)
Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills
The employee must frequently lift, carry, push or pull up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

Resolve all inventory balance on hand discrepancies. Performing these tasks helps to ensure accurate inventory counts that directly effect on-time delivery and financial accounting.
Resolve all inventory discrepancies for sales orders and assist with restock from shipping team.
Perform transactions related to inventory status, identification and location. Completion of these tasks helps to avoid unintended shipment of non-conforming product to customers.
Update product status per NCN.
Coordinate held product inventory consolidation, verification, and identification.
Pull expired lots per monthly report
Assist in cycle counts
Assists in physical inventory counts of products based on cycle count process or on an as needed basis. Performing this task allows for accurate inventory counts that directly effect on-time delivery and financial accounting.
Other duties as assigned
Assist Inventory Specialists and other departments with any inventory related issues.
