About The Position

The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for the inventory management of the warehouse and the function of receiving, inventory processes, and reconciliations. This role involves inputting receipts of incoming material, reconciling warehouse receipts to vendor paperwork, and ensuring accuracy of various details such as Lots, Packaging Codes, Nomenclature, Weight of Material, and Supplier. The coordinator must ensure receipts are entered into the system within a 24-hour guideline and communicate any issues with damaged material. They will analyze reports such as Anticipated Delivery/Overdue Purchase Order and Open Pack Out/Open Transfers to resolve issues and ensure timely completion of work orders. This position serves as a point of contact for work order lot issues and communicates with Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) regarding work order completion and changes. The Inventory Coordinator is also responsible for updating reports for month-end, performing necessary adjustments, and acting as a liaison between purchasing and the warehouse regarding inventory. They will assist the warehouse with order correction and ensure all documentation is current and adhered to. Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Input all receipts of incoming material from assigned warehouses.
  • Reconcile the warehouse receipt to all vendor supplied paperwork.
  • Ensure accuracy of Lots, Packaging Codes, Nomenclature, Weight of Material, Supplier, etc.
  • Ensure receipts are entered into the system within the 24 hour guideline.
  • Communicate any damaged material received with the appropriate Product Manager/Coordinator or Logistics Coordinator to resolve or attain disposition of material.
  • Analyze the Anticipated Delivery/Overdue Purchase Order reports, resolving any open order issues with the appropriate Product Coordinator.
  • Serve as the point of contact for work order lot issues.
  • Analyze the Open Pack Out/Open Transfers report to ensure the warehouse has scheduled and completed the work order within the required completion date.
  • Communicate with the originating CSR concerning the completion of work orders and any changes that may have occurred.
  • Ensure accuracy of Lots, Packaging Codes, Nomenclature, Weight of Material, Supplier, Rate Codes, etc.
  • Update all reports for month end reporting.
  • Perform necessary adjustments to close out small pounds or rounding calculations.
  • Act as a liaison between purchasing and warehouse with regards to inventory.
  • Assist warehouse with order correction.
  • Ensure all documentation is current and adhered to.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
