About The Position

DSV is seeking a detail-oriented, organized Inventory Controller to join its logistics team in Houston, Texas. The role is responsible for accurate inventory counts and tracking goods in the warehouse. The position is full-time.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in inventory management, warehousing, or a related field.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and software.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
• Ability to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment.
• Fluent in English, both oral and written.
• Strong computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with cycle counting or other inventory control methods.
• Familiarity with quality control procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other inventory management software.
• Experience working in a regulated environment, such as food or pharmaceuticals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments of goods.
• Enter data accurately and promptly into the inventory management system.
• Maintain organized and clean inventory storage areas.
• Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols.
• Assist in preparing regular inventory reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
