About The Position

The Inventory Control position focuses on inventory control activities, including shipping, receiving, finished goods receipt, and job kitting. Some employees may not be trained in all activities, and responsibilities vary based on position level. The role also includes maintaining inventory accuracy, organizing the stockroom, fulfilling internal consumable requests, and preparing shipments in accordance with industry and customer requirements. On-the-job training at Triad may be applied toward required skills based on demonstrated aptitude and competency.

Requirements

Computer literacy.
Ability to read and write English.
Email and telephone communication skills.
Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
Ability to lift at least 20 pounds.
Required skills may be met through a combination of skills, past experience, and/or education; on-the-job training may also count based on demonstrated aptitude and competency.

Familiarity with spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

Monitor the Inventory workcenter report to assess workload and set the daily schedule.
Maintain accurate inventory counts of unassigned material, kitted material, and finished goods using established processes and the ERP system.
Label and identify material accurately during receiving, and identify non-conformances for escalation.
Create kitting issue/picklists for Inventory personnel and assist with job kitting as the schedule requires.
Maintain stockroom organization and cleanliness.
Fulfill consumable material requests for internal customers.
Review the Available to Ship report daily to identify late, due, and early shipment demands.
Pull, audit, and prepare shipments according to industry and customer requirements.
Complete daily shipping requirements using varied carrier providers.
Create shipment paperwork and record daily outputs.
