About The Position
This position reports to the Production Supervisor and is an onsite role in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The work schedule involves 10-hour shifts from Monday to Thursday, with overtime as needed to meet customer demand. This is a Safety Sensitive position under the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Amendment of 2016.
Requirements
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to learn, understand and follow company requirements for employee safety, product quality and productivity.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Candidates must have a work authorization that permits them to work for ABB in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
- Opens containers.
- Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
- Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
- Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated areas.
- Other duties as assigned
