About The Position

RFNOW Inc. is seeking applications from motivated individuals to join our Projects Team. We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Inventory Control Worker to support our inventory, parts, shipping/receiving, and yard operations. This role combines physical labour, logistical work, and data entry. The ideal candidate is organized, hands-on, self-motivated, and comfortable working both outdoors and in an office/warehouse environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (or relevant work experience)
  • Strong computer skills and comfort with technology
  • Experience (or ability) to learn and use inventory / ERP / parts management software
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to scan, upload, and maintain records with attention to detail
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb, climb ladders, bend, reach, etc.
  • Class 5 (or equivalent) driver’s licence in good standing
  • Friendly, reliable, and team-oriented demeanor
  • Ability to take direction, work independently, and adapt to changing tasks

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift certification/experience
  • Familiarity with NetSuite, PowerCode, or similar ERP/inventory systems
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, parts, or inventory role
  • Experience driving and making deliveries

Responsibilities

  • Assist with inventory counts, including cycle counts, annual full counts, and reconciling physical stock to system records
  • Support shipping and receiving operations: unloading, inspecting, verifying, and processing incoming and outgoing parts
  • Pick up and deliver parts from suppliers—locally within Virden and occasionally to/from nearby towns
  • Perform yard and shop maintenance (e.g. sweeping, organizing, cleaning, snow removal, general upkeep)
  • Organize, stack, and maintain stock in both the indoor warehouse and the outdoor yard
  • Use internal inventory software to enter product details, scan stock, update records, upload to databases, etc.
  • Use Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) for reporting, tracking, and communication
  • Assist co-workers or management with ad hoc inventory or parts tasks as needed
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain clean, safe working conditions
  • Occasional lifting of parts or boxes (up to ~ 50 lb)
  • Operating forklift (if certified) when required
  • Other reasonable duties as assigned by your supervisor
