About The Position

Maintain and monitor inventory levels and product movement for accuracy. This role is full-time, working the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday from 3:30pm to 12am, with overtime as required. Requirements

  • Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Accurate data entry skills.
  • Experience with WMS.
  • Experience with document scanning and copying.
  • Basic office skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic, reading, and writing.
  • Ability to understand the production schedule.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in Inventory Control.
  • Experience with count back inventory reconciliation.
  • Experience with inventory audits for outbound shipments.
  • Must have experience and be knowledgeable about Food Safety or willing to receive training in Food Safety.

  • Self-starter/self-motivated; ability to work independently as well in a group setting.
  • Experience and knowledge about Food Safety or willingness to receive training in Food Safety.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate product and packaging material inventory use.
  • Perform inventory audits and cycle counts as required.
  • Coordinate, problem-solve, and communicate inventory issues to customers, vendors, and the Production Planner.
  • Coordinate the product recoup operation.
  • Backfill on production lines as needed.
  • Follow established Dock Safety policy.
  • Complete the Motorized Equipment Daily Inspection sheet.
  • Report all equipment malfunctions to management and/or maintenance immediately.
  • Wear PPE as required.
  • Follow safety and security policies and SOPs.
  • Collect samples when requested by customers.
  • Work with the Production Planner to coordinate packaging material changes.
  • Work with customers/vendors/Production Planner to resolve quality issues.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and specific customer work instructions.
  • Interface directly with customers and maintain a professional and courteous relationship.
  • Ensure customer requests are responded to within an hour.
  • Provide customers with an estimated time of completion including factual responses.
  • Immediately escalate customer complaints to management (e.g., inabilities to meet customer requests or customer-reported errors).
  • Follow food/safety SOPs and AIB standards.
  • Maintain daily housekeeping of the operations building, equipment, break rooms, restrooms, and smoke areas.
  • Participate in pre-shift meetings and department meetings.
