About The Position

Acoustical Sheetmetal Company (ASC) provides on-site power integration for large-scale data centers. We offer sound-attenuated and weather-protective packaging for on-site power generation equipment, with products ranging from economical skin-tight enclosures to entire multi-unit power plants. We work to reform and modernize the integration process in a multitude of ways. Our personnel include certified welders, licensed electricians, and machinists, as well as an engineering design team that works with production in an assembly line process immersed in the language and culture of quality control. We offer project management and administrative support for the submittals process as well as advanced welding engineering, freight distribution management, CAD visualization and unparalleled field service. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or material handling.
  • Basic understanding of inventory management processes and systems.
  • Experience using QuickBooks or similar inventory tracking software.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment.
  • Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple departments.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Forklift certification.
  • OSHA safety training.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement practices.
  • Associate degree or coursework in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, store, issue, and track raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and process inventory transactions promptly.
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventories.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and work with leadership to resolve issues.
  • Organize warehouse locations, material storage areas, and inventory labeling systems.
  • Support material movement between departments and facilities as needed.
  • Work closely with Purchasing, Production, and Shipping teams to ensure material availability.
  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency.
