About The Position

Responsible for the inventory control of the DC. Understanding of inventory control practices to include the delivery of quarterly and yearly cycle count program. Experienced in preparing and delivering cycle count internal and external audits. Actively participate in inventory performance discussions across all departments throughout the site. All Live Comfortably associates play a crucial role in meeting our customer requirements and are expected after initial training to perform with minimal supervision. Associates may be asked to assist with other duties and work in other departments when needed to meet those requirements.

Requirements

  • 5 + years of supervision experience (Manufacturing Environment preferred)
  • Prior Inventory Supervision experience required
  • Proven experience managing inventories and associates
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office (specifically Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • Strong Analytical, Problem-Solving and Decision-making skills
  • Outstanding Organizational, Prioritization, and Time Management skills
  • Excellent internal/external Customer Service Skills
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • Strong Teamwork with ability to Establish and Maintain Relationships in a professional manner

  • Manhattan Scale & NetSuite knowledge a plus
  • Ability to be certified in various types of Forklifts may be a requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Help maintain accurate inventory levels, by overseeing the movement, control, and storage of product throughout the DC and analyzing data from inventory movements and other warehouse processes
  • Maintain accurate controls and procedures to properly implement cycle count operations and physical inventories
  • Responsible for Rework and Re-class activities and respective inventory adjustments and communications.
  • Ability to analyze and correct inventory discrepancies as needed. Conduct root cause analysis to prevent future discrepancies (systems, process or people deficiencies).
  • Exercise independent judgement in the interviewing, hiring, training, assignment of tasks and targets, scheduling, coaching, counseling, evaluating, and disciplining of employees
  • Act as a mentor by providing leadership and expertise within the department
  • Provide high level of quality standards throughout facility
  • Monitor and resolve workplace safety issues to keep employee safe by complying with company safety policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Other projects as assigned by Senior DC Manager
