About The Position

The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily execution of inventory control and kitting operations. This role directs the work of frontline associates, ensures adherence to established processes, and supports inventory accuracy through cycle counting, audits, and issue escalation. The Supervisor focuses on execution, team performance, and compliance, while partnering with management on process improvements and complex issue resolution. This position is on-site at our Grand Forks, ND location.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business or supply chain
4+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or related field
Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel preferred).
Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory processes.
Ability to follow established procedures and enforce standards.
Strong communication and team leadership skills.
Analytical and problem-solving capability, with ability to escalate issues appropriately.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in standard and non-standard situations.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily inventory control and kitting activities.
Execute and monitor cycle count schedules; ensure completion and accuracy.
Review inventory transactions for accuracy and compliance with standard procedures.
Identify, investigate, and escalate inventory discrepancies to management.
Perform routine audits of inventory processes and documentation to ensure consistency.
Support kitting operations by prioritizing and tracking assembly orders.
Monitor team productivity and accuracy; provide real-time feedback and direction.
Ensure team adherence to safety standards and company policies.
Train, coach, and support development of team members.
Assist with onboarding and cross-training of associates.
