Requirements

Minimum 2 years related experience and/or training in Inventory Control.
Minimum 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training in warehouse environment.
Experience operating a forklift and cherry picker/high lift.
Experience using WMS software (Synapse preferred).
Working knowledge of Inventory Control practices; KPI reporting, Coordinating Cycle Count programs, Product rotation.
PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access Database.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to physically count articles or products on shelves, racks and pallets.
Responsible for payroll validations for all respective IC and Inbound associates.
Utilize computer terminal to properly account for inventory issues, returns, and documentation.
High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency.

Synapse WMS software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervising and coordinating activities of workers concerned with inventorying materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts, in stockroom, warehouse, or yard.
Maintaining layout of stockroom, warehouse, and other storage areas, considering turnover, size, weight, and related factors in items stored.
Studying records and recommending remedial actions for reported non-usable, slow moving, and excess stock.
Reviewing records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures, and to determine adequacy of stock levels.
Scheduling work for special and periodic inventories.
Preparing composite reports from individual reports of Inventory Specialists.
Tracing history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommending remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.
Issuing written / oral instructions and expediting workflow with team members.
Assigning duties and examining work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
Overseeing inbound associates in their daily tasks and job responsibilities.
Other tasks as assigned by manager.
