About The Position

JK Findings is a global jewelry component manufacturer and wholesaler headquartered in Rochester, New York, serving customers in more than 48 countries. The Inventory Control Supervisor supports the Inventory Control Manager by keeping inventory operations accurate, timely, and coordinated. The role strengthens data integrity, supports reliable reporting, and guides a team responsible for processing and logging inventory consistently. The supervisor oversees daily inventory transaction processing and logging, monitors data accuracy, resolves discrepancies, and produces routine reports to support decision-making. The role combines work on the floor and in inventory systems, including validating counts, checking transaction records, reviewing exceptions and trends, ensuring documentation is complete, removing workflow roadblocks, and communicating with the team to keep the department on pace during normal volume and overtime periods.

Responsibilities

Supervise, coach, train, and motivate inventory control staff.
Oversee daily processing and logging of inventory transactions.
Monitor inventory data accuracy and correct discrepancies.
Produce routine inventory reports and concise summaries to support decision-making and end-of-day visibility.
Review dashboards, logs, and exceptions to confirm transactions are posted correctly and identify trends that could affect accuracy.
Validate inventory counts and ensure documentation is complete before updates are finalized.
Coordinate priorities with the Inventory Control Manager and maintain communication so department workflows stay on pace.
Help remove roadblocks and keep workflows moving during normal volume and overtime periods.
