The ideal candidate has a strong background in aerospace/defense warehousing, thrives in a fast-paced environment, has hands-on experience managing government property, and is passionate about building, mentoring, and scaling a high-performing warehouse team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or materials management within an aerospace, defense, or high-volume hardware manufacturing environment.
  • 1+ years of direct supervisory experience leading warehouse associates, inventory specialists, or material handlers.

  • Strong analytical skills (Excel, SQL, or BI tools) to present inventory metrics, cycle count coverage/trends, and capacity constraints.
  • Strong knowledge of AS9100 standards and OSHA laws
  • Experience being hands-on and boots on the ground in the warehouse with proven skills in both process and equipment troubleshooting, and ability to adapt to constantly changing warehouse environments
  • Passion for employee development and enjoy the process of training and developing both new hires and veteran warehouse staff
  • Strong understanding of production rate, critical path analysis, and key warehouse fundamentals
  • Experience supporting process development and implementing new processes
  • Knowledge of 5S, lean manufacturing or 6-Sigma principles
  • Reliable, organized and detail-oriented with excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Experience in ramping from low-volume/R&D prototyping to high-rate production.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, mentor, and build a high-performing warehouse and inventory control team.
  • Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) and train team members on physical material handling, safety, and system transactions.
  • Develop processes that increase the efficiency (speed & elimination of waste) and effectiveness of Anduril materials management.
  • Implement necessary systems that match Anduril Federal policies on management of government property & inventory management.
  • Own the development and execution of a robust Cycle Count and Physical Inventory program (including ABC classification analysis) to achieve and maintain >99% inventory accuracy.
  • Optimize picking by velocity, ensure all high-velocity parts are in ideal primary pick locations (preferably golden zone) and a replenishment program is keeping these locations stocked.
  • Perform deep-dive root cause analyses on inventory variances, shipping/receiving discrepancies, and WIP bin aging.
  • Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Serve as the warehouse super-user for ERP and WMS systems.
  • Ensure all physical material movements (receipts, stock transfers, issues to production) are mirrored accurately and in real-time.
  • Partner closely with production planning and manufacturing teams to align material availability with production schedules, minimize disruptions, and meet customer demand on time.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment utilizing 5S methodologies.
